November 2011: Chamlon joins the "1.000.000 drops" incentive of Asito
Asito, one of largest commercial services providers in Holland, started the incentive "1.000.000 drops". In this incentive Asito wants to spread more social awareness on social responsibility. November 2011: Official member of the Foreign Trade Association

We are proud to announce that Chamlon has become an official member of the Foreign Trade Association (FTA) starting from 1 November 2011. We will participate in the Business Social Compliance Initiative to tackle the challenges of responsible sourcing.

Textile fiber prices have been very extensively increasing over the last year. Especially, cotton has made a unprecedented price increase of more than 65% in the last year and reached an all time high in Oct/Nov 2010. Consequently, the worldwide textile industry found refuge in viscose, polyester, and polypropylene fibers, with the logical result that also these synthetic base materials have made an tremendous price increase over the last year.
